THE NEW 2012 SUN ODYSSEY 379

Jeanneau proudly announce the arrival of the new Sun Odyssey 379 to the popular Sun Odyssey range.

This model is aimed at the very heart of the sailing market and boasts many unique features and benefits for sailors everywhere.

Following the success of the Sun Odyssey 409 & 439, the Marc Lombard designed cruiser handles easily while maintaining excellent performance.

Available in a three or two cabin version, the 379 also has extra flexibility by having a lifting keel option to make exploring those shallower inlets and secluded bays that much easier.

Following the design features of the 409 and 439, the headsail and mainsail sheets are lead back to primary winches on both sides in easy reach of the helmsperson. All lines are lead back to the cockpit under the coach roof for a clean and uncluttered look that also makes moving about on deck that much safer. Another versatile feature is the optional self-tacking headsail. Customers can also select a larger overlapping headsail or the standard easy to tack or gybe 105% overlap genoa.

The spacious cockpit is ideal for entertaining. With twin wheels and a large folding table access around the cockpit is superb. New curved opening port and several flush hatches allow the light to bathe all areas below the decks. The high end contemporary interior on the Sun Odyssey 379 will appeal to the most discerning buyer.
